PC3 Cells & DU145 Cells - Cell Line (Aug/01/2006 )

Hi, everyone. It's Happy August.
I’m a beginner on biology and lots of questions.
I’m little confuse the difference between PC3 and DU145 cells.
Are they all prostate cancer cell lines?
With respect to the beta 1 integrins, which one has beta 1 integrins?
I think PC3 cells don’t have enough beta 1 integrins but DU145 cells have. Is it right?
Let me know further information such as some papers.
Thanks a lot.

Yes, they are both human prostate cancer cell lines.
check this link for DU145.
and this link for PC3.

Hope this help.

Yes they are prostate cancer cells and we culture them daily. Regarding beta 1 integrins expression in those cells, you may search pubmed literature to see if others have done such analysis.
