try this Q again.....anyone transfect primary cells? Any tips??

I have infected primary rat neurons using AAV. One colleague has transfected primary neurons using AMAXA.

In my previous lab, we tried to transfect fibroblats like synoviocytes with Exgen500, CaCl2, but the one that was well working was Amaxa.

I have transfected primary peritoneal mesothelial cells with Fugene6 but not very successfully (low efficiency and strange luciferase assay results). We going to try the Amaxa set up (demo in 2 weeks time) and then maybe adenoviruses which I know will work.
