PCR of herbarium specimes - PCR of Caesalpinia herbarium specimes (Jun/21/2006 )

Hi every one,


I am trying to amplify some herbarium samples and i am having a hard time. I got very nice amplification using ITS or ETS, but I got almos nothing but a smirr using low-copy nuclear genes. I tried different PCR protocols, I didi Get rid of the junk before performing the PCR and nothing changed.
by the chance...is there any time machine available?
ok...I will be very happy with any suggestion.
