Raw 265.7 & FBS - (Jun/20/2006 )

I think everyone uses 10%FBS when growing Raw 264.7
Is there any study being done that investigate how changes in %FBS affects growth of Raw 264.7?

You can reduce the FCS down to 5% and will not see an appreciable slowing in the growth curves. I have used 5% in the past to reduce the number of subcultures I do per week, as the cells grow like weeds. However if you do things like induce enzymes in lower FCS concentrations, then you will see a decrease in enzyme induction.
