TLR expression on Vero cells - (Jun/01/2006 )

Does anyone know if Vero cells express either TL3 or TLR4 so that they are responsive to poly I:C or LPS, respectively?? I am looking at the translocation of IRF3 into the nucleus during type I IFN production, but I can't seem to get poly I:C treatment to work (either in the media or transfected into the cells) and I was also curious about using LPS instead. Thanks.

I needed to detect interferon for an experiment so used media from the Poly I:C treated cells as positive control. It never gave me a result. Had to use LPS to get a positive control. I was using neuronal cultures.
