I want to do a promoter trap experiment,does anyone konw how and where to find a gene's promoter sequence?

unfortunately there is no concrete sequence for gene promoters, best place to start is with current literature on the gene you are interested in. In association with the basic conserved sequences in the organism you are studying.

outside of that I cant think of anything more useful
