I have a problem about the transfection of 293T - (May/26/2006 )
recently,I used Effectne Transfection reagent from Qiagen to transfect 293T cells, as indicated by the mannual, I tranfected the cells at 70%confluence, and check the GFP level at 24hr,48 hr,72hr, finding that the transfected cells get confluent at 48 hrs post transfection,and some celle die 72hr, so according to your experience, what confluence is best for transfection if I want to trace the expression until 72hr?

I start with 30%-50% confluence.

yes 30%-50% confluence is good.
