Bordetella medium - (May/26/2006 )

i have started to work with Bordetella parapertussis and i am using cohen wheeler as growth media. but the efficiency of growth is not sufficient. so i am wondering wheter there is a trick about cohen wheeler preparation.

i have never used cohen wheeler medium, is it at the corrcet pH after sterilisation?

have you tried brain heart infusion agar, i have used it in the past with adequate results
