CHIP and CHIP with tagged proteins - (May/08/2006 )

Hi Everybody!!!

I am interested in doing CHIP and CHIP. However, there is not any good antibody available for my protein. Is it possible to do CHIP and CHIp with tagged proteins? Which tag is better?

Abcam has recently validated their tagged Abs for use in ChIP.

They have great antibodies against HA, Myc, His, T7 and V5. They all ChIP.

There are a lot of folk that are keen on the HA tag but theyre all guaranteed to work and have been tested by ChIP.
