Dounce Pestles A vs B whats the difference? - (May/04/2006 )

Hi
I have two different types of pestle for my dounce homogenizer (Bellco), one labeled A and one is B. I know that one is tighter fitting, but does anyone know which one is which?

"A" is the looser fitting, "B" the tighter fitting.

They should be used in that order. I normally lyse my cells 5-10x with looser fitting A, followed by 5-10x with tighter fitting
