Has anyone experienced FCS precipitation after heat inactivation? - (Apr/09/2006 )

I'm using a bottle of fetal carf serum that is just expired (expire date is 01/12/05). After 57oC heat inactivation for 45mins, I found some white powder like precipitation appeared. Is it normal? Or is it indicating that my FCS is no longer good?

Sometime, FCS precipitate after heat inactivation and it is normal.
Don't worry, your FCS is fine.
