blood alkaline - (Mar/29/2006 )

hi, i have to answer this question; and after that writte about it can someone help me answer this?

if blood is alkaline:

1 more hydrogen ions sodium and bicabonate ions are excreted
2 less hydrogen ions are excreted and bicarbonate ions are reabsorbed
3 less hydrogen ions are excreted and bicarbonate ions are not reabsorbed
4 the kidneys reabsorb increased amounts of water
5 the diet must be low in necessary acids

thanks for any replies,

do you understand alkalinity? this will help you come to a conclusion

also, if you do a google for 'alkaline blood', and possibly also for 'alkalosis' then you will get some great information that can help you solve your question
