Plant tissue culture - (Mar/24/2006 )

After read through the title plant tissue culture from catherinehor , i suddenly having a hope that some of yours can help me
I done a in vitro culture of orchid -Eulophia gramineae Lindl.

After getting the result, i found that cytokinin, BAP and Kinetin is better to induce the callus compare to auxin. It is different from others journal that noticed auxin alone or mixed with cytokinins. Thus, i want to know why the result is different from others and also hope can obtain some supported material for it.

Help!!!!!

See I also prefer BAP always as its more effective than kinetin. Also try to get better results in your own culture irrespective of the published journals as we are dealing with living material whose response depend also on its age ,physiological condition and mother plant.Auxin may not be required always . If you are not clear ask freely any question
