which part is the synovial membrane of the rat? - (Feb/21/2006 )

I am doing a study on rat synovial cells(FLS). I dissect the synovial membrane from a rat and then seperate the FLS from it. When I open the joint of the rat I was really confused. I don't know which part of the joint is synovial membrane although it is very clear in the textbook.

Please give me some advice, 3xs

ask someone in your lab who will able to show you directly "on" the articulation... i can get this... you want me (far away) to sow you?... even with a picture of a synovial i would'nt be able blink.gif huh.gif sad.gif

Fred is right,
all what we could do is show you a picture out of a textbook, but as you said, this is already clear for you.
Try to find someone around you who is already skillful whith this experiment and ask him to show you.
Ask your supervisor, he might know someone who is doing such experiments, you should expose them your project and make some collaboration with them.

I cannot help you more.
good luck
