Turbidity in nutrient broth - (Feb/19/2006 )

How could you determine whether the turbidity in a nutrient broth tube was from a mixture of different microbes or from the growth of only one kind of microbe?

it depends how you inoculate it

inoculate an agar plate and check if there are different colonies.
From the liquid medium... I don't think you can tell.
