DNA amount in ChIP - (Nov/27/2005 )

Hello:

I haven't seen anywhere if I can mesure the amount of DNA that I got after ChIP. I tried to read in spectrophotometer but that was below the sensetivity (except the wce).
Is there a chance to read the concentration in a nanodrop. If not how do you know what value to put in the PCR reaction?

Thank you for your time, Shiri

Some papers claimed that they typically recovered a few nanograms after ChIP.

I don't care much about how much DNA gets precipitated after ChIP and bother to determine it because it certainly depends on the type of antibody used, but I make sure I use 1x10^6 cells per ChIP reaction.
