How long does take the cell cycle in HepG2 cell line? - (Nov/15/2005 )

Hello, I'd like to know how long does take the cell cyle in HepG2 cell line. I learnt here that serum starvation is for synchronize the cells to g1/g0 phase, but I still don't know for how long shall I use this starvation period. ..I observe the influence of free fatty acids on PKC..

According to this paper: http://www.nutrition.org/cgi/content/full/129/1/25, the doubling time is 29 hours +- 3hr. Wow, I even cite texts in real life, how lame!
