Histology Help - (Jul/31/2009 )

I have mouse knees that have been fixed in formalin and decalcified in EDTA. My lab has done some staining on sections from these samples. I have some more knee samples from a while back that have been flash frozen and are stored in liquid nitrogen. Is there anyway to fix and decalcify these samples for histology after they've been frozen?
Thanks!

Not really, the soft tissues will go to mush on thawing. If you are just looking at the bone, this might not be a problem.
