breaking down flocculated/aggregated yeast - (May/07/2009 )

I've been trying to create a yeast suspension that is monodisperse but cant quite break up all the flocs, so far i have been using water and vibrations to break up the cells. Is there anything i can add to the solution that will aid cell separation but won't effect the cell wall structure?
