PFGE gel - Can I reuse pulsed field certified gel for PFGE? (Apr/22/2009 )

I'm running Pulsed field gel electrophoresis for P.aeruginosa...
I use 1% pulsed field certified gel for seperating..

Can I reuse this gel??
And if I can reuse how many times should I reuse??

Please, advise me!!
thank you very much for your advice

I would be happy to reuse the gel for normal electrophoresis (with adjustments to the gel buffer concentration). But I would not reuse the gel for PFGE. You can't afford the same level of DNA degradation with intact chromosomes compared to plasmid DNA. It is easier to smear.
