confusion with different forms of plasmid - (Apr/04/2009 )

hi guys
i just found this site explaing about different forms of plasmid
humgen.wustl.edu/.../plasmid/plsmid10.html
im unable to differentiate between nicked form,covalently bonded form of plasmid dna
can anyone help?

Molgen, I think this is the link: link and this is the text he has problems with (I think): "Uncut plasmid DNA can be in any of five forms - nicked circular linear covalently closed supercoiled or circular single-stranded"


Or are you refering the another text sagar?
