genomic DNA extraction from tissue - (Jul/19/2021 )

Hi,

I will be extracting genomic DNA from about 15mg of frozen tissues. 

Would appreciate any tips on what to do if the pellet is invisible, this is my concern using 10ml tubes. The protocol says to mention 10ml screw cap tube and Im sure the pellet wont be visible following centrifugal steps involving DNA precipitation, and subsequent washing steps.

Any tips would be appreciated.

Add glycogen to the precipitation steps to give a visible pellet (you can even use colored glycogen)
