Rotating magnetic fields against viruses and bacteria. RMF generator - (Apr/13/2020 )

A rotating magnetic field is a magnetic field that has moving polarities in which its opposite poles rotate about a central point or axis. Not to be confused with a static magnetic field. The rotating field may be created either by a rotating magnet or a set of stationary electromagnets.

Example : magnetic stirrers are using a rotating magnetic field, in this particular case it will not help, this is the reason why I am proposing an expermental,  FREE  rotating magnetic field generator for lab tests only range 200 Hz- 2 GHZ

All the informations, IMPORTANT studies, considerations, can be found here : https://publiclab.org/wiki/applications-of-rotating-magnetic-fields-biotechnology-rotating-magnetic-fields-rmf-generator-x-device

Considerations :

spinning magnet + coil ( iron core or iron less ) => electric energy ( I=V/R )

Corresponding units:

ampere (A) = volt (V) / ohm (Ω)

The question :

spinning magnet + virus/bacteria/organic tissue => ? (direct results/indirect results)

Looking forward for professional considerations and  observations, after you read the article https://publiclab.org/wiki/applications-of-rotating-magnetic-fields-biotechnology-rotating-magnetic-fields-rmf-generator-x-device.

You find a rotating magnetic field in an mri and rotation in a magnetic field with an nmr. Why would yours be better to try than them?

A MRI scanner, ok - it has to be modifed,  a mri scanner + an experimental adjustable system  placed inside the mri scanner + output power controlling system.  This means high costs overall and the inconvenent to be exposed at a radiation with a high input power during the tests   (instead of taking the mountain near the house  you can place a well-equipped caravans in several mountain locations ) - there is a lot of power in a MRI scanner , which in this particular case is not needed and not helping. I consider it a "magnetar" if we will involve it in the studies ( for tests and for laborants - direct and indirect long time expossure - there is a huge list of viruses and bacteria) .

Wikipedia : " While the hazards of ionizing radiation are now well controlled in most medical contexts, an MRI may still be seen as a better choice than a CT scan."......

At the first look :

A NMR - resolution directly depends on magnetic field strength higher costs ( in comparation wiith aprox 60 euro or less ,  the proposed mobile RMF generator ) and a mobilty problem ...... and requires also  adjusments software and"  hardware"  . Be aware of that we wish to stay in the " safety" area max 200 Hz - 2 GHz non ion-ionizing Radiation, 10 W input.power .... Considerations : direct/ indirect exposure of the laborants and tests . If you ask me, the input power it is always a factor we  should take it  in consideration when we are discussing about electromagnetic effects ( this time negative effects )  . A small input power means I am somehow " in the safety area " .

Analyzing the existing research with CONSIDERATIONS, https://publiclab.org/wiki/applications-of-rotating-magnetic-fields-biotechnology-rotating-magnetic-fields-rmf-generator-x-device I realised that, some of the mentioned studies were done in the frequency range 1 - 50 hz, and were limited by the construction of rotating magnetic field generators, not at all simple as construction, and probably not cheap . I conclude that by their construction they had limitations in the tests, but with all the constructive limitations they obtained encouraging results.

Why the generator proposed by me ?

1.The proposed generator has a simple and efficient construction, it can be replicated free of charge by any laboratory that wants to test it against bacteria / viruses / organic tissue/etc for analyzing direct or indirect effects ( if they have problems with the replication, I am offering free asistance ) also it is :  mobile, low cost ( 60 euro or less ) and due to the low  input power max 10 W, keep the laborants in a safety area ( indirect exposure)

2. The advantage of using the RMF generator is that you can adjust the distance (z) between the sample x and the source (the spinning neo sphere 19.000 - 29.000 rpm in a specific position ), which is very important. - please , see the 3 rd picture in the mentioned link

3. I am proposing a research in range area 200 Hz - 2 Ghz.

Waiting for profesional considerations and observations regarding the mentioned STUDIES.

The reason i proposed mri and nmr is because, in academia, there may already be one or both available (also, the nmr in your picture is a lot larger than the ones used for chemical analyses in research institutes).

also, your excerpt from Wikipedia is a little out of context. They were saying that CT’s and pet scanners utilize ionizing radiation whereas mris don’t.

if neither of them are available then your system may be useful.

Yes, is true, it is a little out of context as you said. I am always refering to the input power (refering at radiation )  that is the reason why I suggest that. My personal opinion is that, when the input power of the radiation is higher probably I should expose to that only for 1 second,  in case there is no need.

To clarify for other readers, MRI scans do not expose patients to ionizing radiation. There are no known biological hazards to humans from being exposed to magnetic fields of the strength used in medical imaging today.

When you have time, if you can help me with some profesional considerations regarding the mentioned STUDIES .

I am looking forward for your opinions.

why I am not using  a mri scanner / NMR for testing  ? - this is the reason why in the 3 rd post I mentioned that : " ok - it has to be modifed" refering to mri and nmr

To clarify for all readers  :

Imaging Principles:

Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) measures the spatial distribution of specific nuclear spins (usually those of protons) in the body. Electric signals from the spins are measured using precessional motion of the proton spins after they are excited by radiofrequency (RF) pulses irradiated in a static magnetic field.

The phenomenon in which the nuclear spins generate or emit electric signals of a specific frequency (Larmor frequency) in a static magnetic field is called nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR).

The electric signal (NMR signal) itself carries no spatial information. The spatial information necessary to generate an image is given by magnetic field gradients that are generated by gradient coils. Because they are driven by pulsed electric currents in a strong magnetic field, the coils receive a repetitive strong force, and a loud sound is produced during the MRI scan.

Target of the expeirmental RMF generator (by construction )  : to obtain a rotating magnetic field ( not a static one )  and to avoid coils using a low input power. ( the answer )

Observations :

Static magnetic fields are constant fields, which do not change in intensity or direction over time, in contrast to low and high frequency alternating fields. Hence, they have a frequency of 0 Hz. They exert an attracting force on metallic objects containing, for example, iron, nickel or cobalt, and so magnets are commonly used for this purpose.

Conclusion :

I have to modify them if i wish to use them in the tests. They are not suitable as they are for the tests.
