IPTG and foam - (Mar/04/2019 )

I am inducing a culture with IPTG and there is a lot of foam build up. I have added IPTG however I am worried it will just rest on the foam and not mix in the culture. It has been left on a rocker at 200rpm. Do I have cause to be worried that IPTG will not induce due to resting in the foam?

i would think that the iptg would make it through the foam to the medium. but, why did it foam? is it rocking too fast?

I think I forgot to add the anti-foam solution.
