Water Treatment Process (lake and resovoir) - (May/11/2018 )

I have expired polymer Aide aka wc7557 or pure powder form acrylimide. All the 55 lbs bags have an experation of 1 year after produced printed on them, when pre mixing I don't see an issue but my pre-pump filter is getting clogged. Would this be from clumping of expired powder? Still works great with my polymer and ferric chloride.

even non-expired acrylamide will have some insoluble particles. you should always filter the solution before you introduce it to the system.
