Primer design (Real time PCR) - (Mar/24/2018 )

Dear all,

I'm interested to analyze FAS by real time PCR. So I would like to know the best way to design the primers:

- how can I get the mRNA sequence (only the part that encode the protein) to design later the primers?

I know that it is a basic question but I've never done that.

You have the complete genetic info of the protein? If not you can go ncbi website and search the nucleotide sequence of your protein, then the CDS refers to its coding sequence, it starts with ATG (start codon) and usually ends with TGA (stop codon).
