Calculation of mg/ml protein concentration in my sample - (Mar/22/2017 )

Hi,
Calculation is not one of my strength. I have a 20ml egg white liquid sample containing 10% protein. For my sds page i need my sample to have a final protein concentration of 1mg/ml. Please how do i dilute my sample with the sample buffer to achieve that. Thanks. Please someone help me.

Assuming that protein has a density of 1 g/ml - this would mean that you have 10% of 20 ml (2 ml) of protein, and hence 2 g of protein in the 20 ml. Can you work from that?
