Why is the smearing becoming different in the polyacrylamide gel than the agaros - (Oct/28/2016 )

Hey guys, I am doing an assay called Poly(A) Tail-Length Assay, which is supposed to give a smearing when running the PCR product in a gel. I performed the assay and ran my product in the TBE agarose gel and got the smearing product as expected. However, the smearing became quite ugly in the polyacrylamide gel, which is supposed to be more clear than the agarose gel. Since I don't have any experience on DNA electrophoresis in polyacrylamide gels, I couldn't figure why this happened. Can anybody help me with this? The gel that I used was from Novex, Invitrogen. I also included the results from the manufacturer, which were very nice. Thank you.

Looks like you loaded too much DNA on the acrylamide gel.

Thank you. I will try loading less PCR product. Do you think there might also be some other possibilities?
