2 different quenchers in 1 assay? - (Feb/18/2016 )

Hi, I would like to know if it is OK when target gene probe is quenched by different quencher (IAbFQ) than probe for endogenous control (MGB).

You may look up some literature or ask some of the companies that make the probes, but unless the quenchers interact in some weird way, it should not matter. I suppose these probes will be far apart and both are "dark quenchers". But you never know for sure until you try.
