Cell death determination - (Jul/28/2015 )

Hello folks,

does Nicoletti staining (staining of dead cells with PI) brings you the same or comparable results than counting the amount of cells in the subG1 phase using a classical cell cycle staining protocol??

PI stains cells in late apoptosis.

As for me, not really. I prefer the latter one.
