Detection of SMALL Peptide (5 amino acids in size) - (Jun/21/2015 )

Hello,

I'm still googling and searching through PubMed....

Does anyone know a method by which I can detect peptide fragment which are about 5 amino acids in length?

I guess Western Blot won't work for proteins that size?

Best regards and thanks in advance,

you can use tris-tricine sds-page (and immunoblot if you have an antibody against the peptide).

you can also separate the peptide and identify with hplc (especially if connected to a mass spectrometer).
