Looking for a florescent protein with an intron - (Apr/07/2015 )

Hi all,

I'm looking for a construct that encodes a florescent protein (preferably on the red emission spectrum) that contains a large intron (over 1000bpit needs to be able to splice and express in human cells.

Did anyone ever come across something like that?

What do you need to the intron for? Most of the fluorescent proteins will express quite happily in human cells without introns.
