GFP interference in dual luciferase assay? - (Apr/02/2015 )

Dear colleagues,

I performed a GFP transfection test on a difficult-to-transfect cell line with Lipofectamine 2000, can I use these cells (still expressing GFP) to perform my dual-luciferase experiments? Should I wait until they stop expressing GFP in case it interferes in the luminometer? Or would thawing out new ones be the safest?
