When is safe to stop - (Apr/01/2015 )

Hi Guys,

Some time ago I read a blog post (I think) that described when in protocols was safe to "stop and call it a day". Like: Set up the PCR, leave at 4C and you can go home for the day! Or after cloning: you can store your sample at RT (or not!) and come back after the weekend. Or: can't stop at this point and need to keep going until THIS point!

I remember bookmarking it but just can't find it now! I am new to the molecular biology scene and would REALLY appreciate if anyone that read it could send me a link or maybe some of you has such a "cheat-sheet".

Hello,

After PCR, we can keep samples at 4 C or purifiy the PCR products and store at - 20 C for long time. After ligation,  transform next day (if you ligate at 4 C).
