how to store the crosslink reagents (BS3, DSP)? - (Sep/08/2014 )

The crosslink chemicals (BS3, DSP) is provided as 50mg per tube. It is hard to weigh a small amount. If possible, I hope to dissolve and aliquot them. Shall I keep them in 4 degree or freeze them? Would it be stable for a few months? Or must I make the fresh buffer each time?

You can order them aliquoted. However, we also order them in 50 mg amount but we do not aliquote them (storage at +4). Also, do not dissolve the aliquotes, they are prone to hydrolysis. Rather, store them undissolved. Just before openinig the vial bring it to room temperature (to reduce condensation) and seal tightly afterwards.
