Restriction and ligation time interval - (Jul/11/2014 )

Hi, is it better to do the ligation right after restriction? i wonder if there is the danger of ligation with other fragments in the case of pcr products because of sticky ends.

As far as I know, sticky ends (as they are single stranded DNA) are more susceptible to degradation in time. It's better to use them fresh.
