CHIP on frozen cell pellet - (May/01/2014 )

hello guys,

i just want to ask if you have ever experienced performing CHIP from frozen cell pellet?

if you can not perform crosslinking and sonication immediately, can we store the cell pellets in liquid nitrogen first and then perform CHIP next time?

Here is a useful protocol for crosslinking frozen cell pellets. I have used this protocol with frozen human PBMCs, with one change: we use 250 mM glycine rather than 1% in the stop-fix solution. Here is the link:
