Heating elution buffer for plasmid prep - (Apr/28/2014 )

Anyone knows the rationale behind heating the elution buffer from the commercial plasmid prep resin for large plasmids (>10kb)? 

Some commercial kits suggest heating the buffer to 70°C to improve the yield.

It's the same rationale as for dissolving most things in aqueous solutions - warm will dissolve more.
