simultaneous knock down of two genes in a single cell line - (Mar/12/2014 )

Hello Everybody,

Can anybody suggest how I can knock down two genes in a single cell line simultaneously. I went through the previous blogs discussing the sequential knockdown of two genes ... Can you please tell me if that was successful and how you did it.

Thank you very much ,

You can do that with Morpholino oligos.  I've seen studies using simultaneous knockdown of as many as eight RNAs simultaneously in zebrafish.  Morpholinos are effective in cutlures as well, though you need some sort of delivery strategy (e.g. electroporation, Endo-Porter endosomal escape reagent or use a Vivo-Morpholino, which has a delivery moiety attached).
