Need help to identify bands in AGE result - (Mar/10/2014 )

i couldn't identify whether it is having smearing or bands,according to some of my laboratory seniors,some said is bands while some said it just having smearing result...Attached Image

These look like very short fragments, probably primer-dimers. It's not a specific product, unless it is perhaps a very small fragment.

The product size is compatible with the DNA ladder which around 227-272bp,and when I checked on NCBI primer BLAST,it targeted to specific primers: PIN1and GAPDH ,perhaps still got other factors to cause me get the failed result?

If you expect short fragments, you should use a lower percentage gel and run the gel longer to get better resolution.
