A simple question:

Can I transfer cells into antibiotic-added liquid medium instead of solid agar plates for selection after electroporation and recovery? What will be the disadvantages by using liquid medium for selection?

You won't get clonal samples, but if that is not a problem, then it would be fine. You can always streak out for single colonies later. Library preps might be challenging, because different library members could have different growth rates, and liquid growth would select the fast growers.
