Clostridium septicum in food - (Dec/15/2013 )

Hi all,

Can we consider Clostridium septicum safe if present in ready to eat food?

It is part of normal intestinal flora but does produce a toxin.  Suggest you need to understand why it's present (does it indicate fecal contamination) and counts.
