autoclaving and use of geobacillus stearomophillus - (Dec/10/2013 )

I have a query over the use of using spore tubes in autoclave. we are a ukas lab and use the tubes every 5 cycles on the autocalves. my question is should we use them on waste cycles 126 For 15 mins as well as media cycles 121 for 15.

They are usually only used on waste cycles to ensure that the waste is properly sterilized before disposal.

Yes that makes sense. So do you think we should be using on both waste and media runs. We do run our waste runs at 126 for 15. how do you think ukas would view it
