Bioruptor plus protocol - (Nov/06/2013 )

I really need to find a scientific paper with a protocol for shearing DNA using the Bioruptor plus machine to get fragment lengths of around 500bp. The DNA is total DNA (nuclear and mitochondrial) isolated from whole blood (human). Please can anyone help?

Why do you need the specific machine - it's just a sonicator, so any paper that uses sonication should be justification enough.  How to get fragments should be explained in the manual, and with a bit of experimentation yourself...
