Wrong PCR product - (Oct/11/2013 )

I have some problem with my PCR product. I design primer base on invitrogen. The expected size of my PCR product is 290bp. I do with RNA (RT-PCR one step). But The band is very nice but the size about 400bp. Please give me some advice? Thank you

Your primer might recognise another gene than the one you want to detect, giving a completely different fragment. Try with a different pair of primers. An alternative might be designing primers with PrimerBLAST or looking for ones that have already been used in publications.
