Sodium bicarbonate addition to GMEM for BSR T7/5 cells - (Aug/22/2013 )

I always add 2.5-3.5 g of sodium bicarbonate to DMEM if I make it from its powder form.

Now I need to grow a special kind of BHK21 and I prepared GMEM from its powder form. I'm not sure if I need to add sodium bicarbonate to it or not! Is it necessary? 

It's a modification of minimal Eagle's medium so it will have a bicarb buffering system too.  It will depend on the supplier as to whether they have added the bicarb to the powder or not.

yeah, I just checked at Sigma, it is without sodium bicarbonate. should've added, forgot...!
