Hello people,

I would like some assistance with the following; I am trying to calculate the different concentration of my drug for MTT assay (50, 100, 150, 200 and 400umol/L) from a stock concentration of 5mg/ml, but i'm a bit confused. Could some1 kindly help the poor fellow out!

The MM of my compound is 176.13.

Thanks!

well, you know its 176,13 gram for 1 mol.

And you need (for example) 100 µmol ....

1 mol = 176,13 gram

100 µmol = ?

to go from 1 mol to 100 µmol, what do you do?

(1 µmol = 10^-6 mol)
