Using Triethylamine in diagnostic tests - (Jul/31/2013 )

Does triethylamine have any interactions whenused in PCR or Western Blot Assays?

bump.  I tried looking for some primary literature but came up with nothing.

Don't know about in PCR, but I have never heard of anyone using it in western blotting.  As it seems to be used in reverse phase chromatography, there must be some interaction with nucleotides and proteins, but how this works is beyond my chemistry knowledge.
