Difference between IHC and florescent IHC - (Jul/31/2013 )

Hello all,

could you please tell me what is the difference between IHC and florescent IHC and at what step?

and the protocol for florescent IHC?

The difference is in the secondary antibody - for fluorescence it is fluorescent (obviously) and for normal IHC it is conjugated to an enzyme to develop a colour based chemical reaction.  The protocols are the same essentially, just swap the secondary for a fluorescent one (work in the dark) and skip the enzymatic reaction step.
