Electroporate lentiviral vector for stable cell line - (Jun/23/2013 )

Hi all scientist here,
I'm just curious whether I could get stable cell line if I just electroporate lentiviral vector. This is because I just feel bothered to go through packaging step.
I'm totally new at viral vector.
So, please give any comments, advice, or lecture.

Yes, you can. Without packaging, it is just a plasmid. The thing is that you may not have the same efficiency as viral infection.

Just take it as a normal vector if you wanna skip the step of packaging lentivirus
